Timely and accurately process monthly billing and follow up to all payers, Medicare, Medicaid & Managed Care
Research and resolve all billing edits in electronic billing system
Follow up with Case Management for missing authorizations
Enter monthly ancillary charges
Submit all secondary billing for co-insurance balances
Review and process all credit balances
Month End closing
Knowledge of Skilled Nursing RUG codes
Works well independently and in a team environment
PCC software experience is a plus
Must have two (2) to three (3) years’ healthcare billing experience
Knowledge of Medicaid and Medicare regulations.
UB04 billing experience preferred.

Ability to interpret Medicare benefits (HIQA) and payments.
previous insurance verification experience helpful
Knowledge of Zirmed - Claims Management preferred but not required.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
