Job Description:  This position shall be responsible for ensuring the effective and cost-efficient management of billing and collections across the organization.
 
Job Responsibilities:  Responsible for the development and maintenance of policies and procedures required to ensure the accurate billing and timely collection of accounts receivable.
 Ensures that all employees within the department have received the proper level of training necessary to do their job efficiently
 Responsible for managing the billing, collections and cash posting of accounts receivable.
 Works with the Controller to coordinate the month end close process
 Responsible for keeping current on changes in the healthcare industry, especially Medicare and Medicaid as it pertains to long term care residents.
Manages revenue cycle staff.  Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. 
 
Education/Experience:  Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or Healthcare Administration
                                                Minimum 5 years revenue cycle management experience
