Regional Business Office Manager (field position)

Regional Business Office Manager Responsibilities:
  • Reports to the VP of Accounts Receivable
  • Travels to member facilities of the Symphony Post Acute Network
  • Monitor the Business Office Tasks/Functions
  • Train member facility Business Office employees on policies and procedures
  • Review and Train on Trust Fund/Trust procedures, Admission Contracts, Pending/Medicaid Accounts and Aging 
  • Audit Accounts and request necessary corrections/adjustments
  • Oversee Pending process, hold weekly conference calls and monitor progress
  • Complete Monthly Medicaid Pending Analysis and distribute via e-mail
  • Oversee the collection process, meetings and monitor progress
  • Submit write-off adjustments
  • Meet with staff at sites to review all Business Office matters, concerns and AR Accounts 
  • Assist Facility Business Office staff in the completion of tasks
  • Participate in the interviews and hiring of new Business Office Staff with the Administrator
  • All other duties as assigned

Educational/Vocational Requirements:
  • 5 plus years of experience in Accounts Receivable in the healthcare industry
  • Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree preferred
Job/Technical Skills:                                
  • Excellent MS Excel skills/MS office suite
  • Organized and versatile
  • Strong ability to consult, problem solve, manage and teach others
  • Must be able to understand and produce financial reports
